About the Role
Aperture Group is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in technical recruitment for both Direct-Hire and Contract opportunities. Looking for detail oriented, organized and results oriented individuals to help take Aperture Group to the next level.
In this role, you will…
- Work closely with Account Managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s hiring needs for the role assigned
- Source and review candidate resumes and profiles for each assigned role (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
- Create candidate messaging during outreach in order to attract the right talent (LinkedIn InMails, emails, phone calls, texts, etc.)
- Conduct thorough interviews with potential candidates to clarify if they are a fit for any of our open requisitions.
- Review work history
- Understand if technical skill set is aligned with client’s requirements
- Discuss other factors such as salary expectations, travel, commute, etc.
- Provide a detailed summary along with an updated resume to Account Managers for client submittal, highlighting their relevant experience
- Set up and assist in scheduling candidate interviews with client
- Prepare candidates for client interviews
- Present official job offers to candidates and work through any counter offers
- Assist with and manage candidate onboarding and continue to stay in touch after start date
- Proper candidate documentation in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) including candidate prescreens, general notes, interview feedback, etc.
- Creating talent pipelines for accommodating high-potential candidates in future opportunities
- Work with a high sense of urgency to meet client’s hiring timeline.

- You have prior experience in a technical recruiting role (Engineering, Information Technology, Accounting/Finance, etc.)
- You’re experienced in Direct-Hire as well as Contract staffing
- You’re able to source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms using boolean searches and research of competitors
- You’re comfortable picking up the phone and calling candidates directly to present opportunity or make initial contact
- You can confidently screen a candidate based on technical requirements and ensure they are a fit for our client
- You take clear notes based on candidate’s skills and experience
- You confidently present offers to candidates. Fully understand motivating factors and focus on selling points.
