AP Executive Staffing is partnering with a rapidly growing, technology-driven organization to identify a VoIP Engineer who will take ownership of a cutting-edge, multi-tenant communication platform. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in both architecture and hands-on technical execution. Specific responsibilities include:
- Architect, deploy, and manage a multi-tenant VoIP/IP-PBX platform
- Design advanced communication workflows (call routing, contact centers, omnichannel)
- Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point, troubleshooting SIP, RTP, and network performance
- Maintain Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring security, uptime, and system integrity
- Automate provisioning and monitoring through scripting (Bash/PHP/Perl)
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, project teams, and clients
Skill/Experience Requirements:
- 3–5 years in VoIP Engineering / Unified Communications / IP Telephony
- Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP, TCP/IP, NAT traversal
- Hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/Debian) environments
- Familiarity with Asterisk, Kamailio, Apache, and database management (MySQL/MariaDB)
- Ability to troubleshoot at a deep level (packet captures, network diagnostics)
- A “customer-first” mindset with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly
Tech Environment
