This Civil Structural Engineer role is a key contributor within a growing team, supporting the design and execution of industrial projects from concept through construction. This position plays an important role in structural design, analysis, and project execution, working closely with cross-functional teams and supporting both office-based work and on-site project needs.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Civil / Structural engineering teams to execute complex industrial design projects
• Contribute to technical design work, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements
• Develop and review structural drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations
• Design steel structures, modular systems, and heavy concrete foundations for industrial equipment
• Evaluate geotechnical reports to determine foundation requirements and soil conditions
• Engineer and assess deep foundation and piling systems
• Review fabrication drawings and construction submittals for alignment with engineering designs
• Conduct site visits and field investigations to assess conditions and support construction or startup activities
• Assist with estimating engineering hours and supporting project planning efforts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation
• Support mentorship and development of junior engineering staff
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design within industrial plant environments
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure
• Strong experience with steel and concrete design for industrial applications
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (AISC, AWS, IBC, etc.)
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools (STAAD Pro preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for structural calculations
• Ability to travel to project sites and work within industrial or construction environments as needed
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
