Senior Manufacturing Engineer

AP Executive Staffing (APX) is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our customer, a globally recognized manufacturer of precision-engineered solutions in complex, high-mix production environments.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Engineer with a legacy of success in a high-mix, low-volume environment and who still has immense passion for driving process excellence. They must be driven by solving complex production challenges, improving systems, and making measurable impacts on operations. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of manufacturing processes to ensure that they are safe, efficient, and repeatable
• Drive continuous improvement across key metrics: yield, scrap, throughput, and on-time delivery
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and process enhancements
• Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, helping elevate team capability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• 5 years of high-mix, low-volume manufacturing/production experience
• 5 years of documented success in process development, tooling, and fixture design
• Advanced understanding and execution of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proven ability to lead problem-solving initiatives and influence cross-functional teams
