AP Executive Staffing (APX) is hiring on behalf of a well-established, national professional services organization to bring on an Accounts Receivable Manager in the Buffalo area.
This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing both Accounts Receivable and Cash Application functions. The right person will not only manage day-to-day operations, but also drive process improvements, optimize cash flow, and help elevate overall performance across the team.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage Accounts Receivable and Cash Application teams, including direct oversight of supervisors and staff
• Oversee full-cycle AR processes including collections, cash application, research, refunds, and dispute resolution
• Drive improvements in collections performance and reduce outstanding receivables
• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics; report on performance to leadership
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and support client satisfaction
• Support and enhance AR and cash application systems and tools
• Recruit, train, and develop team members while fostering a strong, accountable culture
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a leadership capacity
• Strong background in Accounts Receivable and Cash Application processes
• Experience with systems such as Billtrust, HighRadius, Aderant, or similar platforms
• Proven leadership experience managing teams, developing talent, and driving accountability
• Experience overseeing supervisors and leading multi-level teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
