We’re hiring a CNC Systems Maintenance and Programming Specialist in Grand Rapids, MI. If you enjoy chasing microns, solving tough breakdowns, and writing clean programs that run flawlessly, this role is for you.

Your focus areas
- Keep CNC mills and lathes performing at their best with routine maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repairs.
- Program, edit, and optimize CNC code to meet production specifications and quality targets.
- Inspect and test machinery to confirm alignment with safety and quality requirements.
- Record maintenance activities and track machine performance with clear, complete documentation.
- Partner with production on improvement ideas and implement practical changes.
- Share best practices and train teammates in programming and maintenance.
- Stay current on CNC tech, controls, and tooling trends.
What makes you successful
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical credential in CNC programming or maintenance preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in CNC programming and machine maintenance.
- Comfort with CNC tooling, G-code, M-code, and reading technical drawings/schematics.
- Strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and teamwork.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on production needs.
Nice-to-have domain experience
- Aluminum castings and high-volume manufacturing environments.
