Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room Nurse - Medical Floor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Emergency Room Nurse on the Medical Floor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assessing and triaging patients in the emergency room
• Providing direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educating patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance activities
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications and Skills:

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room or critical care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
• Commitment to providing quality patient care
