Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. They assist patients with activities of daily living, administer medications, and provide bedside care in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers

2. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and symptoms

3. Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating

4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans

5. Educate patients and their families on healthcare needs and treatments

6. Ensure safe and clean working environment for patients and staff

7. Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and policies

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Valid LPN license in the state of employment

2. High school diploma or equivalent

3. Completion of an accredited LPN program

4. CPR certification

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
