Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Phlebotomist/Medical Technologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collect blood, tissue, or other samples from patients for analysis
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests using automated equipment and manual methods
- Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate records of test results and patient information
- Follow strict protocols and procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Stay current on new technological advances and best practices in laboratory medicine
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
- Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Phlebotomist, or Medical Technologist
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and regulations
