Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Assess the existing sales and business development organization; define a clear structure and strategy to support aggressive growth goals.
- Build scalable systems, KPIs, and sales processes aligned with the company's innovation-focused culture.
- Develop and implement a growth roadmap for new product launches and expansion into emerging markets and channels.
- Define, track, and report on key performance metrics to ensure accountability and continuous improvement across teams.
- Team Development & Management
- Lead, mentor, and restructure a team that includes business development, dealer management, direct sales, and customer support functions.
- Identify high-performing talent, implement performance management processes, and create a results-driven culture.
- Align teams under a unified customer experience strategy to strengthen dealer partnerships and increase sell-through.
- Sales Execution
- Drive both dealer (B2B2C) and direct-to-consumer growth across U.S. markets, with an initial focus on the Southeast region.
- Design and execute strategies for product launches (e.g., the new Lift Bar product line)
- Oversee participation in major trade and boat shows (4–5 annually) to expand brand presence and customer engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment between innovation and go-to-market execution.
- Operational & Analytical Excellence
- Evaluate and optimize CRM and sales technology (currently Pipedrive) to leverage automation and AI.
- Champion continuous improvement and innovation across all growth initiatives.
- 10 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or growth leadership, ideally within innovative product-based industries such as outdoor recreation, marine, powersports, fitness equipment, or consumer technology.
- Proven success leading high-growth organizations through scaling in revenue.
- Experience managing both direct-to-consumer and dealer/distributor channels.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities; comfortable using data and KPIs to drive decision-making.
- Demonstrated success building teams, restructuring sales organizations, and implementing new processes.
- Comfortable working in a privately held, entrepreneurial environment with limited infrastructure and a "working manager” mindset.
- Innovative, strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.

- Base Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 (commensurate with experience)
