Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage existing customers in the region and develop relationships with customers who use competitive products.
- Build and continue to grow a pipeline of prospects by identifying untapped markets and manage the sales stages from initiation to closing.
- Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
- Seek to learn and respond to customer needs.
- Meet and exceed sales revenue and booking goals.
- Collaborate and work as a team with VP of Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Accounting.
- Attend trade meetings, industry conventions and company training.
- All other duties as assigned.
- 3 years in sales within a related industry preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to sell to all decision making levels.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Proven experience in customer relationship management.
- Experienced in management of prospects through a CRM application.
- Previous experience as sales representative consistently meeting or exceeding sales and margin targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent.
- Up to 80% travel throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico.
