Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a CVOR position at a 536-bed acute care teaching hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting, 536 licensed beds, academic teaching facility
- Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
- On-call required, assigned per unit need
- One on-call weekend required per month
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state based on skill set; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided by the facility
- No parking fee
Requirements
- Active RN license and OR RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- A personal vehicle is required for this assignment
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active professional license required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Floating between multiple facilities within the state is expected and a standard part of this assignment
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Former permanent employees of the health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility they are assigned to
- All candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities (as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem/registry), including location and dates
