Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an outpatient position requiring proficiency in a broad range of musculoskeletal, chest, spine, and extremity imaging across adult and pediatric populations.
Details
- Outpatient imaging setting serving adult and pediatric patient populations, including neonates, infants, adolescents, and geriatrics
- Upper extremity imaging includes AC joints, clavicle, elbow, forearm, hand, humerus, scapula, shoulder, thumb/finger, trauma shoulder/humerus (Scapular Y, Transthoracic, Axial), trauma upper extremity (non-shoulder), and wrist
- Lower extremity imaging includes ankle, calcaneus, femur, foot, knee, patella, tibia-fibula, toes, and trauma lower extremity
- Head and chest imaging includes chest AP, upper airway, facial bones, paranasal sinuses, and skull
- Spine and pelvis imaging includes cervical, lumbar, and thoracic spine, hip, pelvis, and sacrum/coccyx
- Schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No on-call requirement
- Epic and Siemens experience required
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- Virginia state license required; any active state license in hand is accepted, as Virginia will grant emergency authorization to travelers while their permanent VA license is processing — license required if applicable
- Experience with the full range of upper and lower extremity, head/chest, and spine/pelvis X-ray procedures as outlined
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and Siemens imaging equipment required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must meet facility radius requirements to be eligible
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging across a wide range of anatomical regions for outpatient orthopedic and neuroscience patients
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
- The facility reserves the right to call off up to 1 shift per 2-week period
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
