Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2 years of experience and current BLS certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Details
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- 4 shifts per week at 10 hours per shift
- 13-week contract assignment
- Performs mammography and related medical imaging procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for diagnosis and/or intervention
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Ability to corroborate patient clinical history with procedure and ensure proper documentation
- Ability to prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions to obtain desired results
Additional Information
- Performs diagnostic radiography procedures by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment
- Produces images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner
- Exercises professional judgment and maintains a demeanor consistent with medical ethics
- Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures
