Description
American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist specializing in Pediatric Echocardiography with 2 years of experience and documented congenital heart experience for a 13-week contract at a Level 1 Trauma pediatric hospital in Little Rock, AR.
Details
- Heart Station unit within a 359-bed, Level 1 Trauma, Level 4 NICU teaching hospital that is the only pediatric medical center in Arkansas
- Pediatric echocardiography patient population with congenital heart cases
- 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
- Call is required approximately every 11th weekend, resulting in approximately one weekend of call per assignment
- Weekday call may also be required approximately every 11th weekday, resulting in approximately six total weekday call shifts per assignment
- A portion of call may take place at an offsite location (UAMS)
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Echo Technologist experience required
- Pediatric echocardiography experience required
- Documented congenital heart experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- At least 1 professional reference within the last year
- Flu vaccination required prior to start — no exemptions or declinations accepted
- Must pass a fit test; facial hair is not permitted unless for religious beliefs
- Must test negative for nicotine
