Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting requiring ARRT certification and 1 year of CT experience.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting with an average census of 30-40 patients per day, with each tech handling 16-20 patients
- Patient population includes outpatient and urgent care cases
- Uses Epic EMR and Philips CT equipment
- 10-hour mid shift, Friday through Monday from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM
- Weekend rotation is every other weekend unless serving as the dedicated weekend tech
- Potential to float to the hospital if agreeable
- No on-call requirements unless agreeable
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- CT license required if applicable
- Independent IV start skills required
- Must be able to work independently as this is an independent shift
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered as no training is provided for this independent shift
- Approximately 2 days of precepted shifts for orientation
- Front desk staff and a second CT tech provide support when schedules overlap
- Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
- RTO requests require Resource Team approval
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
