The Landscape Technician, Installation plays a key role in delivering high‑quality landscape enhancement and installation projects. Under the direction of an Installation Crew Leader, the Landscape Technician, Installation performs hands‑on tasks with a focus on safety, efficiency, and excellent workmanship. This role directly supports successful project completion and contributes to strong team performance and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidate will have Landscape Masonry experience.

Key Responsibilities For The Landscape Technician, Installation

Task Execution & Crew Support

• Perform landscaping installation tasks such as planting, pruning, mulching, sod installation, irrigation work, and hardscape assembly.
• Follow daily instructions from the Project Foreman or Senior Project Foreman to complete all Landscape Technician, Installation duties accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
  
  

Equipment Operation & Maintenance

• Safely operate landscaping tools and equipment in alignment with company and manufacturer guidelines.
• Report equipment concerns to supervisors promptly.
  
  

Job Site Safety & Cleanliness

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe job site throughout the day.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety policies.
  
  

Communication & Customer Service

• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
• Provide professional on‑site customer service as part of your Landscape Technician, Installation responsibilities.
  
  

Quality & Efficiency

• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and is completed within expected timeframes.

Experience & Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior landscaping or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required—training provided. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of masonry experience.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license preferred; equipment certifications a plus.
• Skills:
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively under supervision
• Basic knowledge of plants, turf, and landscape materials preferred

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and performing manual labor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently; heavier items assisted or accommodated.
• Regular use of landscaping tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and shovels.
• Occasional climbing, ladder use, slopes, or uneven terrain.
• Outdoor work in variable weather (heat, cold, rain, wind, sun).
• Exposure to noise, dust, pollen, and various landscape materials.
• Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Availability for early start times, overtime, and occasional weekend shifts.
