As a Crew Leader, you ensure your crew delivers high‑quality work, stays safe, and completes each job efficiently. You'll oversee technicians, manage daily tasks, and keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.
Operational Responsibilities
- Ensure trucks, tools, and equipment are ready before leaving the shop
- Manage truck/trailer loading & unloading
- Lead and supervise technicians on-site
- Delegate tasks to meet safety, productivity & quality standards
- Review and complete all work tickets daily
- Inspect completed work to prevent rework
- Maintain safe work practices, including proper PPE
- Keep trucks, trailers, equipment, and worksites clean and organized
- Submit accurate work orders each day
- Read/interpret blueprints and drawings
- Maintain equipment and ensure site safety
- Promote safety and continuous improvement
- Provide feedback to operations leadership
- Support training and development of crew members
- Model strong Crew Leader standards and expectations
- 2–3 years landscaping experience required
- 1 years leadership experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Strong teamwork and communication
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of landscaping project phases
- Ability to lead, train & motivate team members
- Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through
- Outdoor environment
- Extended hours during peak seasons
- Physical, hands‑on work with exposure to weather, noise, pollen, insects, and job‑site hazards
Salary : $20 - $26
