📢 We’re Hiring: Senior Financial Analyst – Bootz

📍 Evansville, Indiana | On-site

American Bath Group’s Bootz business is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our on-site finance team in Evansville.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on accounting with financial analysis and wants to work closely with a manufacturing operation.

What You’ll Do:

• Support and own key month-end close activities, including journal entries and recurring financial reporting

• Analyze actual spending versus budget and explain the drivers behind variances

• Prepare departmental financial reports and help business leaders understand their results

• Support tax reporting and recurring accounting processes

• Track capital projects, costs, and financial activity

• Work with ERP-generated data, CSV files, and Excel to analyze financial information

• Partner closely with the Assistant Controller and operational departments

• Develop a strong understanding of the Bootz operation and connect financial results to business activity

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement support

• Strong financial analysis and variance-analysis skills

• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with ERP-generated financial data

• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

• Experience working in a structured, deadline-driven business environment

Strongly Preferred:

• Manufacturing or plant finance experience

• Cost accounting exposure

• Capital project financial tracking

• Experience supporting operational departments

At month end, you will be responsible for budget, projection, and actual variance commentary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the company's expense plans and monthly forecasts
• Accurately update systems to actual results, forecasts, and budgets
• Analyze and provide commentary on variances
• Communicate with vendors and ensure on-time processing of vendor allowances
• Ensure compliance with internal and external accounting standards and financial policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
• 4 years' of relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong quantitative financial skills
