We are looking for a skilled 2nd Level IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves solving more complex problems than those encountered by 1st Level Support. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of computer systems, networks and software, along with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to escalated issues from 1st level support, including technical issues that require advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with team members and across departments to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system and network-related issues.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures, system configuration and repair records.
- Monitor system and network performance, addressing and rectifying issues or anomalies as they arise.
- Conduct system upgrades as required to enable system functionality and security.
- Liaise with external vendors for problem resolution, as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, contributing to their ongoing development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in IT support roles, with a focus on 2nd level support.
- Proficiency in a range of computer systems, networks and software, particularly those in use by the company.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Salary : $68,000 - $85,000
