Objective
The objective of the Senior Expert Corporate Affairs (US) position is to strengthen Alpitronic’s brand and media presence in the United States and build a strategic Corporate Affairs function to support this goal. The role focuses on developing Alpitronic’s visibility in national and state-level media, positioning the company credibly in the public debate on charging infrastructure and electrification, and supporting the brand through targeted communications around key partnerships and deployments. In addition, the role ensures systematic monitoring of federal and state-level policy and regulatory developments and represents Alpitronic’s interests in selected states.
The position is part of Alpitronic’s global Corporate Affairs team and directly reports to the Director Corporate Affairs based in Europe.

Main Responsibilities
- Public Relations: Identify and drive relevant PR opportunities in the US, particularly around partnerships with major OEMs and CPOs; ensure execution with members of the US team or agency support.
- Executive Support: Prepare US management for relevant public and political events, developing talking points, background material, and positioning strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Position Alpitronic as a relevant company at state level by building a stakeholder network (industry associations, policymakers, and partners)
- Policy & Regulatory Monitoring: Track and analyze relevant federal and state-level legislation and regulatory developments impacting the e-mobility sector with external support; deliver concise, regular briefings to US management and Corporate Affairs Europe.
- Team Collaboration: Actively engage with Global Corporate Affairs to align communication strategies, content planning, and global positioning efforts
- Issue Management: Provide ad-hoc briefings on political, regulatory, or media developments relevant to Alpitronic’s US operations
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Political Science, Public Policy, or related fields
- 7-10 years of professional experience in communications or corporate/public affairs, ideally in energy, e-mobility, automotive, or cleantech industries
- Proven ability to position brands effectively in PR contexts
- Familiarity with media relations and proven experience identifying and shaping PR opportunities
- Good understanding of US federal and state-level policy-making processes
- Proven experience in representing organizations in front of media, industry associations and political stakeholders
- Experience in monitoring policy developments and creating executive-ready briefings
- Experience working in international or cross-Atlantic contexts is an advantage
- Ability to travel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously in a stand-alone role, while actively engaging with European headquarters
- High organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset, with strong problem-solving skills
- Interest in clean-tech, sustainability, and global developments in the EV industry
