- Our client is a well-established, high-end residential landscape design-build contractor based in Saint Petersburg, FL. With over 30 years in business, they specialize in creating custom outdoor living environments for homeowners and builders, including hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and landscape installations. They are known for their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and strong reputation in the luxury residential market.
- They are seeking a Landscape Project Manager to oversee multiple residential design-build installation projects from kickoff through completion. This role is field-focused and involves managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring each project is executed to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple residential landscape design-build projects simultaneously
- Schedule and oversee installation crews and field teams
- Coordinate subcontractors including irrigation, lighting, hardscape, and drainage trades
- Interpret and execute from landscape designs, blueprints, and specifications
- Translate design intent into high-quality field execution
- Oversee installation of hardscape elements (pavers, patios, retaining walls) and plant material
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to company standards
- Communicate with homeowners, builders, and internal teams throughout project lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and Owner on scheduling and execution
- Troubleshoot field challenges and adjust plans as needed
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in landscape construction project management (design-build preferred)
- Strong experience with installation projects (not maintenance)
- Experience with high-end residential or luxury outdoor living projects
- Knowledge of Florida plant material, irrigation systems, and permitting requirements
- Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret landscape designs and construction drawings
- Experience with scheduling/project tools (Excel, LMN, Aspire, or similar) preferred
- Must reside within ~30 minutes of Saint Petersburg, FL
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 65k/year, plus quarterly bonus
