Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Fulfillment Representative – Electric Service to serve as the primary point of accountability for handling external customer requests related to electric service. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the service fulfillment lifecycle—from request initiation through completion.
The ideal candidate will combine strong customer service skills with operational knowledge and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing support, resolving issues, and ensuring electric service orders meet established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Process, validate, and manage CIAC (Cost in Advance of Construction) and non-utility billing in accordance with applicable tariffs and policies.
- Develop designs and cost estimates for simple electric service requests to support construction planning and execution.
- Prepare and process electric service contracts and agreements to enable construction work.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support successful fulfillment of customer requests.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage complex residential, commercial, and industrial service requests to ensure construction completion.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support operational excellence and share best practices.
- Promote adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze customer issues to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide team leadership support as needed, including:
- Process improvements
- Reporting and analysis
- Cross-training team members
- Representing the team in cross-functional meetings
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, OR
- High School diploma with:
- 9 years in a customer-facing electric/gas, design, or construction role, OR
- 7 years of customer service experience
