What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Allied Resources Technical Consultants?
We are partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Philadelphia to hire a Financial Analyst on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to strategic financial decision-making. You will work closely with finance leadership and operational teams to drive insights, reporting, and performance improvements. MUST BE LOCATED IN PHILLY OR NEAR TO BE CONSIDERED.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the month-end close process: prepare and review journal entries, analyze results, and ensure financial accuracy
- Develop monthly financial reports and executive-level presentations
- Perform variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
- Support and help build the annual operating budget
- Partner with department managers to review financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives alongside senior leadership (COO, CFO, DDA, Sr. Manager of Finance at CPUP)
- Present financial insights in leadership forums
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across finance and operational teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 6 years of experience in a finance department with progressive responsibility in accounting, budgeting, and analysis
- Prior experience within a healthcare system strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership
