Estimating Manager
We are seeking a strong Senior Estimator / Estimating Manager with experience in the Heavy Highway / Heavy Civil industry. This individual will play a key role in developing competitive, accurate, and innovative bids, with a strong focus on project costs, means and methods, and strategic pricing approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review and interpret project drawings and specifications
- Understand owner payment structures and Schedule of Values
- Produce accurate quantity take-offs and pricing for Heavy Highway / Heavy Civil scopes
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects ranging from $10M to $100M
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations
Required Qualifications
- 4-year Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- 10 years of Heavy Highway / Heavy Civil experience preferred
- Estimating experience within construction
- Proficient with HCSS HeavyBid
Salary : $140,000 - $180,000
