The Retirement Plan Termination Analyst is responsible for providing assistance to clients on DOL and IRS regulations of Retirement Plan terminations.
Responsibilities:
- Must live in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, MD, MI, MA, NC, NY, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TX, UT
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
The Retirement Plan Termination Analyst is responsible for providing assistance to clients on DOL and IRS regulations of Retirement Plan terminations.
Responsibilities:
- Make initial contact with the client
- Establish a termination date
- Update the plan document
- Remains current with laws and retirement plan administration
- Provides training and resources on products and retirement plan services to internal associates
- ASPPA Credentials
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent customer service skills including the ability to manage client expectations and provide superior followup service.
- Advanced working knowledge and understanding of retirement plan administration and associated regulations and IRS tax rules.
- Must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to think and make decisions quickly while maintaining accuracy.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and SRT system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to ensure the daily projection of a professional customerfocused image.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from partners, clients, customers and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to interact at all levels within the organization as well as with external client and third party contacts.
- Must be a team player but also work well independently, have a strong ability to problem solve and must pay close attention to detail.
