SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
We are seeking an experienced, strategic Account Executive to lead property operations and external relationships for our residential cooperative and condominium clients. The AE will execute the annual operational strategy, manage capital improvement initiatives, and ensure full compliance with legal and association standards while fostering exceptional service and stakeholder satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Owner, Board & Resident Relations
• Serve as primary liaison to Boards of Directors, Sponsors, and client leadership, ensuring satisfaction through proactive communication and relationship-building.
• Attend monthly and annual board meetings, deliver updates on operations, projects, and board concerns.
• Maintain consistent and transparent communications with stakeholders, including residents, staff, compliance, leasing, transfer, and accounting teams.
• Address resident inquiries and concerns to enhance community satisfaction and living experience.
• Interpret and enforce corporate policies, association bylaws, and governance standards in all interactions.
Property & Building Operations
• Direct and coordinate daily property operations, emphasizing resident service, responsiveness, and alignment with board expectations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, repair coordination, and service performance to ensure property systems remain operational and compliant with inspections and audits.
• Manage requests for vendor services-solicit bids, award contracts, supervise performance, and verify completion in alignment with company standards.
• Lead responses to emergencies, coordinating internal and external resources and implementing corrective actions.
• Supervise resident-led unit improvement and building-wide capital enhancement projects, ensuring alignment with project scope and budget.
Administrative & Financial Oversight
• Prepare and oversee the annual operating and capital budgets; develop long-range financial plans consistent with strategic objectives.
• Deliver monthly variance reports, utility consumption analyses, and other operational or financial deliverables.
• Process invoices, manage payables, track vendor performance and expenditures, and reconcile financial discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with all management and association agreements.
• Maintain appropriate property insurance in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
Supervisory & Team Leadership
• Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate property and operational staff-ensuring team alignment with mission and performance standards.
• Oversee all personnel-related activities: disciplinary actions, payroll approvals, performance reviews, and union liaison as needed.
• Supervise vendor teams to guarantee contractual compliance and quality delivery across services.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or equivalent experience in residential property management.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in condominium or cooperative management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with MRI or similar property management systems preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of condominium/co-op closing procedures as handled by transfer departments.
• Demonstrated expertise in property operations, maintenance coordination, and service contract negotiation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills with experience managing demanding stakeholders in high-pressure environments.
• Independent, self-motivated leader who thrives in a collaborative, tight-knit professional culture.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• This role embodies both strategic oversight and operational execution, reporting directly to senior leadership and collaborating extensively across departments.
• Responsibilities may evolve; the AE, VP may be assigned additional projects or company-wide initiatives beyond core property operations.

Annual Salary: Starting at $140,000
*Salary commensurate with experience
