Key Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, administrative accounts, and other core infrastructure technologies.
- Diagnose complex network and connectivity issues using knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, ports, protocols, DNS, firewall rules, and network traffic flow; translate technical requirements into actionable requests for networking and security teams.
- Support technical security and compliance initiatives by using endpoint, monitoring, and security tools to identify vulnerable or noncompliant systems, analyze findings, and coordinate remediation.
- Serve as an infrastructure escalation resource by independently investigating complex tickets, supporting technology projects, documenting solutions, collaborating with users and technical teams, and recommending solutions when issues do not have an obvious answer.
- 3 years of hands-on systems, network, or infrastructure administration experience with strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019 or newer, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
- Solid networking fundamentals, including IPv4 addressing, subnetting, TCP/IP, ports and protocols, DNS, firewall requirements, and troubleshooting network connectivity.
- Experience with technical security, endpoint, monitoring, or vulnerability-remediation tools such as CrowdStrike, Tanium, Splunk, or comparable technologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently investigate complex infrastructure issues, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple projects and support priorities.
