Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative (Beauty/Salon Accounts)

Do you love providing great customer service and have an interest in the beauty or hair industry? Our client, a growing company in the professional hair industry, is looking for a personable and customer-focused Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative to support salon professionals and customers.

This is a sales support and customer service role, not a high-pressure cold-calling position. You'll support existing salon accounts as well as prospective customers who have already expressed interest in the company's products. Previous beauty industry experience is not required!

Position Details

• $22/hour monthly commission
• Direct-hire opportunity
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• On-site in Lenexa, KS
  
  

What You'll Do

• Build relationships with existing salon accounts and respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
• Assist customers with product questions, order placement, and shipment updates
• Recommend additional products, promotions, and services based on customer needs
• Follow up with prospective salon customers and maintain accurate customer and account information
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service, inside sales, retail sales, account support, or other customer-facing experience
• Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
• Comfortable with basic sales, upselling, computer systems, and learning new products
• Interest in hair, beauty, wigs, extensions, or salon products is a plus; cosmetology experience is welcome but not required.
