$220,000 – $365,000

Aligned Talent Acquisition is continually seeking experienced Construction Litigation Associate Attorneys for opportunities with Am Law 50, Am Law 100, Am Law 200, regional, and boutique law firms throughout the Chicago market.

If you have experience representing owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, insurers, or sureties in complex construction disputes, I'd love to connect.

Ideal Background

• 3–7 years of construction litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience handling disputes involving construction defects, delays, design errors, payment disputes, mechanic's liens, surety claims, and contract disputes

• Experience representing developers, owners, contractors, design professionals, insurers, or sureties

• Experience with litigation, arbitration, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution

• Strong experience drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, and trial materials

• Familiarity with AIA contracts and complex commercial construction projects is preferred

• Strong legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
