Capital Markets Associate (3–6 Years)

An AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Capital Markets Associate (3–6 years) to join its Charlotte office, with a focus on CMBS and commercial mortgage securitizations.
This is a highly specialized opportunity to work on complex structured finance transactions within a top-tier capital markets platform.
🔹 The Role
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents related to commercial mortgage securitizations, including:
- pooling & servicing agreements
- offering documents
- mortgage loan purchase agreements
- certificate purchase agreements
- placement agency agreements
- legal opinions and related contracts
- Manage closing processes for complex, multi-party transactions
- Work closely with deal teams and clients on structured finance matters
- Collaborate within a nationally recognized capital markets group
🔹 Ideal Background
- 3–6 years of capital markets / structured finance experience
- Experience with CMBS or securitization transactions strongly preferred
- Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and take ownership of responsibilities
🔹 Compensation
- $260,000 – $390,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Bonus eligible
