An AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking an Investment Funds Associate to join its growing team in Charlotte.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary funds practice representing private equity, hedge funds, venture capital funds, and other alternative investment platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Advising on fund formation and structuring matters
- Working with private equity, hedge funds, VC, and real estate funds
- Supporting investments, regulatory considerations, and fund operations
- Collaborating with clients on ongoing fund lifecycle matters
- Participating in business development and client-facing work
What They’re Looking For
- 4–6 years of investment funds and/or fund formation experience
- Background in investment management or private funds
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work directly with clients
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in business development
