Salary range: $125,000-$165,000

Overview

We are looking for a C Software Engineer to join client's advanced sensing team and help build the core software and algorithms behind modern radar and RF-based perception systems. Please reach out to Chris McMillan at cmcmillan@alexandertg.com with an updated resume if you are interested.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement signal processing and state-estimation algorithms for radar and RF sensors.
• Build and optimize real-time C software that delivers high performance and clean, usable interfaces.
• Architect modular, well-tested software components that are easy to maintain and integrate across teams.
• Create automated test and validation pipelines to ensure correctness and accelerate delivery.
• Design data analysis and automation tools to evaluate system performance and guide algorithm improvements.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and product teams to transition research into deployed solutions.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with modern C and performance-critical software development.
• Knowledge of estimation, filtering, or sensor-fusion techniques.
• Solid foundation in object-oriented design and software architecture.
• Experience using Python for analysis, prototyping, or automation.
• Experience in RF, radar, and sensing technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident due to work in restricted U.S. Government environments.
