What you'll do:
- Review current suppliers and find better or backup options to improve delivery and reduce costs
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers
- Coordinate logistics (shipping, warehousing, distribution) to ensure on-time delivery
- Identify and implement improvements to make the supply chain more efficient and cost-effective
- Conduct supplier audits when needed
- Identify risks (delays, quality issues, global factors) and put plans in place to prevent disruptions
- Work closely with engineering, production, sales, and finance teams to keep operations running smoothly
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management is required
- Minimum of 7 years of Project Management is required
- Proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations, reducing costs, and improving efficiency.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems
- Strong MS Office skills and excellent communication skills.
- Certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) are a plus.
