Acara Solutions is seeking a 1-year Supply Chain Project Manager for a manufacturer in Longmont, CO.
Job Title: Supply Chain Project Manager
Location: Longmont, CO
Employment Type: 12-month contract
Compensation: $100,000K , DOE (This is a salary OT exempt position)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, hybrid flexibility
In this role, you'll have the autonomy to step in, solve real supplier risks, build a stronger and more resilient supply chain, and make a direct impact on keeping production running smoothly.
What you'll do:
- Review current suppliers and find ways to improve delivery times and lower costs
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Manage shipping, warehousing, and distribution to ensure products arrive on time
- Improve supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct supplier audits as needed
- Identify potential risks such as delays or quality issues and develop plans to avoid disruptions
- Work closely with engineering, production, sales, and finance teams to support smooth operations
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management is required
- Minimum of 7 years of Project Management is required
- Proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations, reducing costs, and improving efficiency.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems
- Strong MS Office skills and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) are a plus.
