Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the marketing calendar to ensure timely execution of all marketing department activities, including promotions, campaigns, social media posts, community events, meetings, etc…
- Work with Marketing Management to ensure that the marketing department always has adequate staff presence and coverage.
- Ensure all marketing materials are compliant.
- Proactively review all website content to assure that it is current, accurate, and relevant. Perform website updates regularly and timely.
- Assure all marketing and rate content within branch locations are updated. Inventory and organize all marketing material, promotional giveaways, and designated storage areas.
- Maintain an understanding of all credit union products and services, using this knowledge to provide promotion and content recommendations and assure all marketing content is accurate.
- Create procedures for all critical marketing department tasks.
- Plan, organize and participate in credit union and community events.
- Serve as an ATFCU brand champion by actively contributing to the overall success of the brand, including embracing the credit union’s mission, vision, and values; positively promoting the brand to build a loyal member base; educating others internally and externally on the brand’s values, mission, and benefits; engaging with the community; and driving growth through increased brand awareness.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics or similar platforms.
- Support Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with Marketing Management and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic product and promotion priorities align with marketing campaigns and credit union brand.
- Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and traditional channels.
- Assist in creating and posting engaging social media and web content, including graphics, videos, and copy that align with the ATFCU brand and credit union goals.
- Assist in the creation of guides and videos for the website.
- Assisting Marketing Management to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to create promotions and marketing content, including email, newsletters, paid media, social media posts, and promotional materials.
- Assist Marketing Management in conducting research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Assist Marketing Management in coordination interdepartmentally and with vendor partners to ensure marketing campaigns are on time and accurate.
- Assist with the Member Survey Program.
- Assist Marketing Management with the creation and implementation of marketing plans, strategic initiatives, and tactical plans. Contribute to the overall success of the plans including achievement of departmental and credit union goal achievement.
- Assist Marketing Management with project implementation and completion.
- Provide overall support to Marketing Management to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the department.
Qualifications
- Highly team and customer service oriented
- Willingness to represent the credit union publicly in various settings, such as credit union and community events; on social media; in training, how-to, and promotional videos; credit union meetings; and interviews.
- Detail-oriented, with an ability to work independently, under pressure, and within deadlines
- Experience with digital and social media marketing.
- Experience with marketing content creation, including graphics, copy, advertisements, social media posts, and video.
- Ability to make decisions.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and duties.
