Akkodis is seeking a SLS Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. You will consistently drive high‑quality delivery through robust CI/CD practices and data‑driven validation.
Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
SLS Automation Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour

Requirements

SLS Automation Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Develop and maintain robust API and integration automation frameworks using Java, Maven, and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement Serenity BDD test suites, including step definitions, reporting, and structured test organization.
- Validate RESTful services, asynchronous workflows, and microservice interactions through automated, data‑driven tests.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins to ensure reliable and scalable execution.
- Perform SQL/MySQL‑based test data setup, validation, and troubleshooting to support end‑to‑end test coverage.
- Analyze failures, enhance test stability, and create reusable automation components aligned with best engineering practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in QA automation with strong focus on API and microservices testing.
- Proven expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and building scalable automation frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with Serenity BDD, CI/CD pipelines (Git/Jenkins), and SQL/MySQL for test data validation.
