Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate is skilled in governing complex cloud programs and coordinating applications, databases, and middleware transitions to Azure.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $52/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Project Manager Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $50.00 to $52.00 per hour

Project Manager Job Responsibilities Include
- Lead end‑to‑end cloud and infrastructure migration programs, including data center exits, lift‑and‑shift efforts, and phased modernization to Azure.
- Oversee full program governance across scope, timelines, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication for multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate migration of applications, databases, and middleware from on‑premise environments to Azure services such as VMs, Azure SQL, AKS, storage, and networking.
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration across cloud, security, network, application, database, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless cutover and operational readiness.
- Manage resiliency activities including DR strategy, testing, security controls, compliance, and adherence to Azure governance standards.
- Engage and manage vendors and partners while providing executive‑level reporting, milestone tracking, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- 10 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in large‑scale program or project management.
- Proven experience leading Data Center Exit and Lift‑and‑Shift migrations from on‑premise environments to Azure.
- Strong hands‑on understanding of Azure infrastructure components (VMs, Networking, Storage, Identity, Security, AKS) and cloud migration methodologies.
