Akkodis is seeking a SDET for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. You will develop robust test frameworks required for this position, while executing comprehensive QA strategies and maintaining automation tools and infrastructure.
Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
SDET Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour

Requirements

SDET Job Responsibilities Include
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright/Selenium with Python, TypeScript, and related technologies.
- Build reusable, maintainable automated test suites—including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests—supporting CI/CD pipelines in Concourse.
- Analyze test results, document defects in Jira, and ensure high‑quality releases through both manual and automated testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to review code, participate in design discussions, and maintain testing infrastructure and tools.
- Develop test strategies, monitor test coverage and quality metrics, and document findings in Confluence and other reporting systems.
- Utilize AI‑based testing techniques such as synthetic data generation, model validation, and prompt engineering to enhance test design and automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in software testing, automation development, and QA engineering.
- Strong proficiency in automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Python, and TypeScript.
- Proven experience implementing CI/CD testing pipelines using Concourse, Jenkins, or similar tools.
