Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Washington, DC(Remote). This role requires deep expertise in Android/AAOS development, with strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin and hands‑on experience across projection systems.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities Include

• Develop and execute API and UI automation test suites for Android, AAOS, and projection-based infotainment systems.
• Perform in‑depth debugging and log analysis to identify, isolate, and resolve system and integration issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to validate Android/AAOS features, projection behaviors, and app–vehicle interactions.
• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab to ensure continuous test execution and reporting.
• Utilize Git, JIRA, and related tools to perform test tracking, defect reporting, and version control activities.
• Ensure high‑quality software delivery by performing protocol-level validation (HTTP, networking, API behaviors) and regression testing across builds.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in Android, AAOS, or projection-based quality engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin, Android OS internals, and experience with Android Automotive OS or projection systems.
• Experience with API/UI automation, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins, or GitLab.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
