CarPlay/AA software engineer

Akkodis is seeking a CarPlay/AA software engineer for a Contract with a client in Washington, DC (Remote). This role requires experience in software quality assurance with a strong foundation in mobile and embedded system testing.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

CarPlay/AA Software Engineer Job Responsibilities Include

• Perform end‑to‑end software quality assurance for mobile and embedded systems, ensuring stability and performance across CarPlay and Android Auto environments.
• Design, execute, and automate test cases using Python, Swift, C, Java, or Kotlin to validate application functionality and system integration.
• Analyze system logs, debug issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects across Android and iOS platforms.
• Validate features that interface with Android NDK/JNI or iOS frameworks to ensure seamless connectivity and user experience.
• Manage source control, test execution, and workflow tracking using tools such as Git, Xcode, and Jira.
• Support continuous integration efforts by contributing to automated test pipelines and improving testing efficiency.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance for mobile or embedded systems.
• Proven proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Swift, C, Java, or Kotlin.
• Strong working knowledge of Android/iOS platforms, including Android NDK/JNI or iOS frameworks, along with experience using tools like Git, Xcode, and Jira.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
