Solution Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT. This role leads end‑to‑end data pipeline development and ensures secure, reliable cloud-based solutions through CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and production support best practices.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Solution Architect Job Responsibilities Include

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot end‑to‑end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Data Lake, PySpark, and related Azure PaaS components.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using PowerShell and Terraform to automate environment provisioning and configuration.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline development in Azure DevOps to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and version control of data engineering assets.
• Ensure cloud security compliance by applying strong security practices across distributed systems, storage accounts, key vaults, and data flows.
• Provide production support following ITIL standards, ensuring stability, performance, and timely resolution of issues across data platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize data workflows, improve performance, and enable effective use of Azure Data Lake and analytics tools.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred).
• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in Azure Data Engineering and cloud data platform development.
• Proven expertise in Azure Data technologies including ADF, ADB, Data Lake, PySpark, and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform/PowerShell).
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and experience supporting production environments following ITIL processes.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
