Python Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA. This position involves designing scalable microservices, developing FASTAPI-based solutions, and working with LangChain/LangGraph to build advanced AI-driven workflows.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Develop and optimize high‑performance Python applications using advanced concepts such as asynchronous programming, multiprocessing, multithreading, and concurrency.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and REST API solutions using FASTAPI within a distributed system architecture.
• Implement robust testing practices using PyTest to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability across all services.
• Work with LangChain, LangGraph, and MCPs to create intelligent, AI-driven workflows and automation components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture, integrate microservices, and improve end-to-end application performance.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues related to memory management, concurrency, and API performance to ensure smooth production operations.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in core Python development and distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in asynchronous programming, concurrency, multiprocessing, and REST API development using FASTAPI.
• Proven experience building microservices architectures and working with LangChain, LangGraph, and MCPs for AI-driven application workflows.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
