Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Irvine, CA. Candidate must have deep expertise in privileged access management and agentic AI security to be considered for this role.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities Include

• Defining and implementing standards and controls for securing non‑human identities using modern PAM concepts.
• Collaborating with Technology Risk to drive policies, guardrails, and preventative/detective IAM controls across environments.
• Serving as the subject‑matter expert for AI identity security, credential vaulting, session management, and zero‑trust enforcement.
• Integrating with enterprise security platforms and identifying automation opportunities using Terraform, Ansible, and related tooling.
• Responding to security incidents, conducting root‑cause analysis, and providing on‑call support for IAM platforms.
• Supporting controls enforcement and governance across cloud IAM services (AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID) and multi‑cloud directory services.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field.
• 8–10 years of background in IAM engineering with specialization in privileged access management.
• Demonstrates strong capability in securing non‑human identities, enforcing least‑privilege controls, and implementing agentic‑AI‑driven IAM guardrails.
• Shows proven expertise with multi‑cloud IAM, directory services, and automation tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python to strengthen enterprise security posture.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
