Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The candidate will lead tool development, AI/ML-driven testing enhancements, and collaborate across teams to improve code quality and data insights.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $41.00 to $44.00 per hour

Developer Job Responsibilities Include
- Develope and coordinate end-to-end testing activities for mainframe-based banking applications across multiple teams.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases, scenarios, and strategies for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Validate business requirements and ensure high-quality, compliant deliverables meet banking standards.
- Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolution using tools like JIRA or ALM.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders, and clients in a client-facing onshore environment.
- Provide testing expertise, status reporting, and risk assessment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- 6 years of overall experience in software testing, with significant hands-on experience in mainframe applications.
- Proven experience working on banking or financial services projects with strong domain understanding.
- Prior client-facing experience with excellent communication and coordination skills across onshore and offshore teams.
