Job Duties:
- Implements Airco EHS policies and procedures.
- Advises, leads, and trains employees on various safety related topics.
- Assists/Conducts new hire safety orientation training.
- Conducts regular walk-through safety inspections of various construction sites to determine compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Completes reports of Inspections in a timely manner.
- Assists the Safety Manager with reports in relation to accidents and safety violations to determine cause and develop corrective actions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 1-3 years working experience and or related education specializing in commercial construction safety.
- Basic knowledge of Construction safety work rules and Federal OSHA regulations.
- OSHA 30 Hour Construction Required.
- ASP, CSP, OSHA 500, OSHA 510, CPR/First Aid a plus.
- Proficient skills with experience in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Must exhibit critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- The successful candidate will operate as a team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish preferred
