The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Enterprise Software Integrated Product Team, supporting Working Groups with stakeholders from multiple organizations, managing applicable product support elements in execution of Sentinel product support strategies, with a focus on software reliability, maintainability, sustainability, and affordability within the Integration Segment.
DUTIES:
- Plans management and logistics sustainment for software workloads within cost, schedule, and performance baselines as directed by various customers.
- Advises senior staff of program software logistics support requirements and objectives, significant actions or problems, and provides recommended solutions.
- Resolves complex software logistics problems affecting numerous activities and units spread out over large geographic areas including software deployment, fielding, release and sustainment.
- Ensures adequate software logistics coverage is provided in all planning and programming documents, facilitates requirements generation, and ensures development and revision of Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) and other acquisition strategy documents.
- Plans, organizes, and supports the software logistics activities of the organization, ensuring operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- Provides critical support to the assigned Integrated Product Team and First Line Supervisor by utilizing all available resources to meet mission needs.
- Performs Working Group support functions to organize multiple organizational entities into an integrated and cohesive team.
- Integrates all 12 IPS elements into software product design and development within the Segment, emphasizing Intellectual Property (IP) and Data Rights considerations, and Configuration Management.
- Provides software logistics input and recommend approval/disapproval for product-level design reviews and acquisition milestones based on operational availability, reliability, and maintainability assessments within the segment.
- Strong communication and a background in logistics and acquisition management are highly desired.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders to meet mission requirements is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with nuclear enterprise, preferably with Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) is desired.
- Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
- Knowledge in applying the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements is highly preferred.
- Knowledge in applying the Configuration Management pillars is highly preferred.

- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; employee must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- In accordance with the Ethics in Government Act, 1978, employee may be required to file an Office of Government Ethics (OGE) Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and will be required to file annually.
- Employee must meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements, which includes achieving Life Cycle Logistics “Foundational” certification category within required timeframe after appointment.
