Salary ($109,837 - $141,880) based on experience.

Qualifications/Requirements
In this position you will serve as an IT expert specialist and Branch Chief for Headquarters Air Mobility Command (AMC), Cyber Plans. You will perform duties as an IT specialist providing a wide range of IT services tailored to support critical in-garrison and deployed command, control, and mission information, processes. Managing the planning, design, development, research, documentation, testing, and implementation of selected solutions and systems while providing advanced knowledge and skills in the use of IT systems as an advanced IT user.
Additionally, you will shape the AMC battlespace by aligning emerging requirements, planning crisis response, and supporting the no fail nuclear mission. In this role you will establish and lead a consistent battle rhythm and enables global operations for 39,000 personnel and mobility assets. Oversees planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions supporting command and control and readiness for AMC’s airlift, refueling, aeromedical, and contingency missions across 11 wings, 2 groups, the 618 AOC, and Reserve units.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a current “Top Secret” Security clearance with eligibility to gain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
Must be able obtain and maintain Information Assurance certification (e.g. Sec ) within 6 months of assigned duties.
Must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position.
HIGHLY DESIRED

- Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions of a small to medium staff or organization.
- Knowledge and skill to modify and adapt precedent solutions to unique or specialized requirements or develop new solutions to unpresented IT issues.
- Knowledge of operational activities (such as Contingency Response Groups (CRG), airlift, Communication Security (COMSEC), Emission Security (EMSEC), Work Order Management System (WOMS), Supply Chain Management, Contingency and Cyber Planning etc.), and command, control, and mission process, systems, and applications.
- Knowledge of IT information systems and applications system software and systems development life cycles (including IT systems documentation, design development, configuration management, cost analysis, data administration, systems integration, and testing).
- Knowledge of IT management information systems requirements and application software development techniques required in carrying out project assignments of considerable difficulty with little specificity regarding approach to be followed.
- Ability to maintain up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements of system software and systems development life cycles, and ability to track the use and status of resources for projects through development, modification, maintenance, and evaluation of a computer system. You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
