The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full time Inventory Management Specialist (GG-2010-09), performing duties as Requisition Team Member – Communication Security (COMSEC) Focal Point, working at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas
This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.
Salary ($62,629 - $81,423) based on experience.

Qualifications/Requirements
In this position you serve as the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division' s (CCSD) Retail Item Manager (RIM) assigned to the Logistics Branch to monitor requirements and provide customer support for the CCSD wholesale supply accounts. The incumbent is responsible for upholding the integrity of a $1B wholesale supply account by ensuring the proper processing of materiel management transactions. Additionally, this position acts as the logistics focal point for more than 1,200 Air Force COMSEC accounts, SIGINT activities, and other cryptologic and cyber missions in support of all DoD activities, NSA, NATO, contractors and foreign allies.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a current “Top Secret” Security clearance with eligibility to gain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position.
Must demonstrate sound security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information.
Incumbent must possess computer skills required for the performance of systemic/research actions and development of briefings, policies/procedures, and other documentation needed to support and enhance duties and responsibilities outlined within the following Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.

- Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of logistics/COMSEC management principles, policies, practices, laws, regulations, techniques, and operations to include specific procedures and preventative safety factors for transportation, handling, accountability and storage of secure communications equipment/ keys.
- Detailed knowledge of standardized wholesale supply procedures/functions/operations, forms and nomenclature, program requirements and work methods.
- Ability to apply logistics/COMSEC procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies
- Ability to collaborate with functional specialists, program offices, higher headquarter activities and field customers resolve complex or unusual logistics problems. Identifies corrective actions, program enhancements, and policy changes to ensure program/mission goals are met.
- Ability to research, compile, maintain and analyze supply information and reconcile discrepancies related to supply records, files, data, and document files.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply applicable reference material such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc. to accomplish tasks and resolve complex supply problems.
- Knowledge of wholesale materiel management systems (i. e. ,CLASS, CDAS, D035 A, D043, etc. )
- Knowledge of safety and security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of controlled and classified assets/information.
- Budgeting - Inventory Management - Managing cryptologic and cyber systems inventory - Working within warehouse and/or maintenance shops (COMSEC) environments - GPC government purchase card - Working with Air Force and/or Department of War (DoW) inventory systems p>You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
