Services include financial management advisory service, financial services, budget operations, cost analysis, and resource management systems.

Qualifications/Requirements
This position supports the F-35 Joint Program Office overseeing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) in Arlington, Virigina. This role will assist in delivering and supporting Agile War-Winning Capabilities in AFLCMC by providing financial management services to personnel, programs, support missions, associates, and external customers for AFLCMC. Services include financial management advisory service, financial services, budget operations, cost analysis, and resource management systems.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain & maintain a security clearance.
- Ability to obtain & maintain DOW Financial Management Certificate Level 2 (not required at time of hire but must be obtained within 2 years or appropriate extension waiver granted).
- Ability to obtain & maintain DAWIA Certification BUS-Financial Management Practitioner Level 2 (not required at time of hire but must be obtained within 2 years or appropriate extension waiver granted).
- Ability to travel throughout the CONUS up to 15% of the time.
- Provides financial planning, budgeting, and execution for Program Management Offices within the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO).
- Integral member of multiple integrated project teams (IPTs) providing decision support and financial recommendations to program managers, contracting, logistics, and other functional communities.
- Performs budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analysis and estimates of funding needs for one or more future budget years.
- Formulates budgets that meet the needs and objectives of important substantive national programs on a long-term basis (several years or more).
- Verifies the costs of certain line items in the budget and accurately enters the costs in standard forms and schedules within established time frames.
- Reviews organizational historical budget data and/or matches funding requests or projected costs of selected line items with past records to accurately determine trends in spending and/or forecast annual funding needs.
- Prepares and/or assembles information in support of formal presentations on budgets, cash outlay plans, information requests and financial reviews provided to foreign country dignitaries and senior leaders, Defense Security Cooperation leadership, OMB and/or Congressional committees.
- Provides financial advice on complex financial issues; assessments of implementing decision and develops programs.
- Recommends procedural changes designed to streamline financial management.
- Conducts independent research and study into current or planned financial management policy and procedures to determine impacts in related areas of the mission.
- Evaluates and advises on pending and current Congressional, OMB, DOD, USAF and Comptroller General decision and recommends courses of action.
- Provides financial management technical assistance and support to the staff in an integrated planning, programming, budgeting, execution and closeout program for financial resources.
